Marina Operations Information
Hi-Dry launch and recovery services are
available from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM during WINTER HOURS and from DAWN
to DUSK during SUMMER HOURS. The switch from summer to winter hours
occurs at the change in Daylight Savings Time. If you can’t return
your boat before closing, it will be placed back into Hi-Dry Storage
the next morning. The Ship’s Store is open 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM year
round. The marina is open 7 days a week, but closed for
Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.
Hi-Dry storage rates are based on
your boat's width and length. Boats with an 8’6” OR LESS BEAM
(WIDTH) are charged at $11.00 PER FOOT OF LENGTH (as stated on your
boat registration) (18 Ft. minimum charge applies), plus tax, per
month. Boats with OVER AN 8’6” BEAM are charged at $15.00 PER
FOOT OF LENGTH (depending on overall height), plus tax, per month.
Limited outside rack storage is available at $9.00 to $10.00 per FT
depending on boat’s width. This includes unlimited use of our boat ramp.
Trailer storage is $35.00 per
month. When calculating storage rates, an additional 2’ of length
will be added to your registered boat length if you have a bow
pulpit, motor bracket, sea drive or a full dive platform.
Space is rented on a monthly or yearly basis
only. If you enter into a storage agreement with us between the
First and Fifteenth of the month, you will be charged for the entire
month. If you enter into a storage agreement after the Fifteenth of
the month, your storage charge will be pro-rated for the remainder
of that month. If you cancel your storage contract, you must remove
your boat by the FIRST OF THE MONTH or you will be charged storage
fees for the entire month. Your account must be paid in full before
removing your boat from the premises. First and last month’s rent
are due at the time your boat arrives. We accept cash, personal
checks, MasterCard, or VISA.
Inside or outside Hi-Dry storage includes
unlimited launch and recovery privileges, complete with a fresh water
hull rinse upon your return.
With established credit, you may make changes
to your storage account. Charges include gas, store merchandise, and
parts. Service Department work must be paid upon job completion.
Your credit limit is $200.00 over your monthly storage fee.
A storage contract is required by our insurance
company. Feel free to stop in and examine one at any time. Proof of
insurance and registration are required for boat and/or trailer
storage.
When possible, our forklift operator can remove
from or place your boat on your trailer. This service is available
for $25 per move.
For the best service, we recommend you call and
request your boat launch at least one half hour prior to your
anticipated arrival at the marina. Longer notice would be
appreciated on holidays and busy summer weekends. Also, we request
you install dock lines on both sides of your boat to expedite boat
launch and recovery. Please let the forklift operator know if you
plan on staying out overnight.
We have five dockside wash/work racks with
electricity available for Hi-Dry customer use on a first come, first
serve basis. We allow customers or their immediate family to perform
minor maintenance on these racks in addition to boat cleaning.
However, we do not allow bottom painting or oil changes. Also,
outside contractors will not be allowed to work on your boat without
prior written approval. Contractors must provide proof of Worker’s
Compensation and General Liability insurance ($1,000,000)
before approval will be considered. In general, we will not grant
outside contractor approval for work our service department or
detailing service can accomplish.
We ask all customers to please read and observe
the signs posted around the marina facility. The large sign posted
on the outside of the first storage building (by the ice freezer)
presents our guidelines for customer dry docking. We will assume
no responsibility for damage to your boat if you fail to observe
these rules.
